Joice Gabriela is a Brazilian contemporary mixed-media artist based in Las Vegas, Nevada. Born in Crixás, Goiás, Brazil, a region shaped by gold mining and mineral landscapes, she developed an early connection to stones, crystals, earth, and the physical histories carried by natural materials.

Her practice centers on sculptural wall reliefs created with epoxy resin, glass fragments, crystals, natural and river stones, sand, shells, mineral pigments, and sculptural compounds. Rather than illustrating landscapes, Joice Gabriela uses matter itself as a visual language. Through processes of layering, accumulation, fracture, and reconstruction, she explores geological memory, identity, belonging, resilience, and material transformation. Her surfaces shift with light and the viewer’s position, revealing changing relationships between transparency, texture, color, and depth.

Her background in journalism, fashion, human resources, and independent artistic study informs her attention to storytelling, structure, and the emotional presence of materials. She is the founder and visual artist behind Joy Art, an independent studio practice dedicated to original mixed-media works, exhibitions, and material-based commissions.

Joice Gabriela’s work has been presented in juried and curated exhibitions at the Clark County Government Center, Clark County Wetlands Park Nature Center, Winchester-Dondero Cultural Center, IKON Homes Art Gallery, and through the City of Santa Clarita in California. In 2026, her work Blue Cluster was selected by curator Renée Phillips for Art Inspired by Nature, presented by The Healing Power of ART & ARTISTS and Manhattan Arts International. In 2025, she was recognized among the Top 10 Three-Dimensional Artists and received a Three-Dimensional Special Recognition Award from Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery.

Through her practice, Joice Gabriela transforms mineral, organic, and fractured elements into layered environments that suggest internal landscapes. Her work considers how pressure, displacement, and change can become sources of strength, renewal, and connection.
