Joice Gabriela Presents Elemental Flow at In Between Worlds

Brazilian contemporary mixed-media artist Joice Gabriela is participating in: In Between Worlds- 5th Annual Juried Show at Clark County Wetlands Park Nature Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The exhibition opened on August 8, 2026, and welcomed artists, visitors, and members of the local community for a public reception on August 15. During the event, Joice had the opportunity to meet juror Alina Lindquist and celebrate the presentation of her selected work, Elemental Flow.

Created with epoxy resin, glass, mineral pigments, and sculptural textural compounds, the 30-by-40-inch artwork explores transformation, movement, and the relationship between fluidity and structure. Its layered surface combines translucent passages, crystalline formations, and tactile elements that respond to changes in light and viewing position.

The work reflects Joice’s broader investigation into material transformation, resilience, and the invisible forces that shape both natural formations and human experience. Through accumulation, texture, and contrast, Elemental Flowcreates an abstract terrain that exists between solidity and movement, fragility and strength, the natural and the constructed.

The reception provided an opportunity to experience the work in dialogue with the other selected pieces and to connect with artists, visitors, and the Las Vegas arts community.
