Every line within this work represents a journey. Some paths cross oceans, while others traverse the invisible landscapes of identity, memory, and transformation. Together, these lines form a constellation of human stories connected by movement, resilience, and the search for belonging.

My own journey began in a small town in Brazil and continued across different countries, cultures, and landscapes before arriving in the United States. Along the way, I came to realize that my story is not unique. Millions of people carry similar maps within them, routes shaped by departures, encounters, challenges, dreams, and new beginnings.

Created with crystals, glass, stone, and layered textures, this work transforms those experiences into a poetic cartography of human connection. Each fragment holds traces of memory accumulated along the way. Each line suggests an individual path. Together, they reveal something larger: a network of lives that intersect, influence one another, and contribute to the ongoing creation of communities, cultures, and identities.

Rather than representing a single place, the work reflects a universal experience, the continuous process of becoming. It speaks to the balance between carrying our roots and embracing new horizons, honoring where we come from while remaining open to transformation.

Constellations of Arrival invites viewers to reflect on their own journeys and on the countless stories unfolding around them, stories of movement, adaptation, belonging, and hope that continue to shape our shared world.
